Job Summary

A leading hospital in the UAE is seeking qualified and dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join its healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide emergency medical assistance, patient assessment, first aid, CPR, stabilization, and safe patient transportation while following established medical and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Emergency Medical Services, EMT, or a related healthcare field.
• Relevant UAE professional license or eligibility is preferred.
• Up to 5 years of UAE experience in emergency medical services, hospitals, ambulance services, or healthcare facilities.
• Strong knowledge of Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, first aid, and emergency patient care.
• Ability to assess patients and respond effectively to emergency situations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and remain calm during emergencies.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong commitment to patient safety and professional healthcare standards.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to emergency calls and provide immediate medical assistance to patients.
• Assess patients and identify injuries, illnesses, and medical emergencies.
• Provide Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, first aid, and emergency care as required.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and report changes in their medical condition.
• Assist with patient stabilization and prepare patients for safe transportation.
• Transport patients safely to hospitals or medical facilities while monitoring their condition.
• Assist Paramedics, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals during emergency situations.
• Operate and handle emergency medical equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate patient records, treatment reports, and emergency documentation.
• Check and maintain ambulance medical equipment, supplies, and emergency kits.
• Ensure the ambulance is clean, hygienic, safe, and ready for emergency response.
• Follow UAE healthcare regulations, infection-control procedures, emergency protocols, and safety standards.
• Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
• Participate in training, emergency drills, and continuing education programs.
• Provide compassionate and professional care to patients and their families.
