The Position

The school is looking for an outstanding Elementary Homeroom Teacher to join our team. Candidates should be qualified with at least 2 years of recent, full-time teaching experience, preferably in the US curriculum. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject along with a teaching qualification.

Job Description

Position Overview The Elementary Homeroom Teacher plays a key role in supporting the school’s mission and fostering student growth. The ideal candidate brings enthusiasm, collaboration, and a commitment to helping students develop both academically and personally. The teacher is expected to uphold and promote the values of the UAE, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and alignment with the national vision. This role requires strong subject knowledge, a student-centered approach, and the ability to create meaningful, engaging learning experiences. Key Responsibilities • Design and deliver balanced, engaging lessons that promote inquiry, critical thinking, and creativity. • Support students’ academic, emotional, and social development in coordination with the SEN team and school leadership. • Assess and track student progress in alignment with curriculum standards and expectations. • Maintain a classroom environment that fosters curiosity, respect, and active participation. • Integrate technology effectively to enhance instruction and student learning. • Teach all areas of the elementary curriculum. • Plan and conduct activities for a balanced elementary program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate. • Establish clear objectives for all lessons and communicate those objectives to students. • Build partnerships with parents to support student learning, well-being, and development. • Provide students with personalized instruction according to their individual learning needs, strengths, and interests.
