Electronics Engineer jobs in Dubai

We are looking for a practical and resourceful Mechatronics Engineer to join our product design and engineering team to focus on electronics, embedded systems, electrical, and automation aspect of our projects.

Our company develops custom products, automated installations, kinetic sculptures, moving artworks, and other multidisciplinary projects combining mechanical design, electronics, firmware, and fabrication.

The selected candidate should be capable of understanding a project requirement, developing a suitable technical solution, and taking responsibility for its execution from initial concept through prototyping, production, installation, testing, and final handover.

The engineer will work under the direction of the Engineering or Project Head. They must be able to determine what is required, use internal company resources effectively, and coordinate with external PCB designers, manufacturers, suppliers, programmers, and other subcontractors when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop electronic and automation systems for custom products, moving sculptures, and interactive installations.
• Program and integrate ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and similar controllers.
• Develop, test, and troubleshoot firmware.
• Select suitable sensors, motors, actuators, controllers, and power supplies.
• Prepare block diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics, and component schedules.
• Build, wire, test, and commission prototypes and final systems.
• Design systems that support maintenance, upgrades, and OTA updates.
• Coordinate with PCB designers, manufacturers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Integrate electronic systems with mechanical and fabricated components.
• Maintain firmware files, technical documents, and system records.
• Support installation and troubleshooting at project sites.
• Manage assigned projects from concept through final handover.

Looking for the right candidate with the following skills:

• Good knowledge of electronics, embedded systems, and automation.
• Experience with ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar platforms.
• Strong microcontroller and firmware-programming skills.
• Knowledge of sensors, motors, actuators, relays, and motor drivers.
• Ability to prepare wiring diagrams, schematics, and system architecture.
• Understanding of PCB design and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, MQTT, and common communication protocols.
• Knowledge of IoT systems, OTA updates, and AI integration.
• Practical wiring, soldering, testing, and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of 3D-modelling or CAD software.
• Good problem-solving, coordination, and documentation skills.

Candidate Requirements:

• Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in embedded systems, automation, robotics, or product development.
• Able to research, plan, and execute technical solutions independently.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Good communication and technical documentation skills.
• Willing to support prototyping, workshop testing, and site installation.
• Based in the UAE or willing to relocate to Dubai.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in any of the following areas will be considered an advantage:

• Kinetic sculptures or moving installations
• Interactive artworks and exhibits
• Robotics and motion-control systems
• Stepper motors, servo motors, linear actuators, and variable-frequency drives
• IoT devices and remote-monitoring systems
• MQTT, cloud-connected devices, dashboards, or mobile-app integration
• OTA firmware deployment and device fleet management
• Custom PCB development and external PCB-manufacturer coordination
• Computer vision, edge AI, machine learning, or AI-integrated hardware
• Product prototyping and fabrication
• Enclosure design and integration of electronics into physical products
• Site installation and commissioning

The candidate should be comfortable receiving an overall project requirement from the project or engineering head and then developing a practical execution plan using company resources and suitable external specialists where required.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
