WE ARE HIRING: ROTARY DRILLING RIG OPERATOR

Foundation / Piling Equipment – Abu Dhabi, UAE

Gulf Gear Heavy Equipment LLC is looking for experienced Rotary Drilling Rig Operators to join our team in Abu Dhabi.

We operate rotary drilling rigs, crawler cranes, mobile cranes, and other heavy equipment, supporting foundation, piling, construction, infrastructure, and Oil & Gas projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safely and efficiently operate rotary drilling rigs for piling and foundation works.
  • Operate drilling equipment according to project specifications and site requirements.
  • Perform daily pre-operation inspections of the drilling rig.
  • Monitor drilling operations, ground conditions, and equipment performance.
  • Ensure proper drilling depth, alignment, and operation according to instructions.
  • Coordinate with rig supervisors, engineers, surveyors, and site personnel.
  • Carry out basic operator-level maintenance and checks.
  • Report mechanical problems or abnormal equipment conditions immediately.
  • Maintain daily drilling and equipment operation records.
  • Follow all company and project HSE requirements.
  • Ensure the drilling rig is operated safely and efficiently to maximize productivity.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Rotary Drilling Rig Operator.
  • Experience operating foundation/piling drilling rigs.
  • Strong knowledge of drilling and piling operations.
  • Experience with XCMG drilling rig brands is an advantage or similar equipment.
  • UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
  • Experience in foundation, piling, construction, or infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of equipment safety and daily maintenance procedures.
  • Physically fit and able to work at project sites.
  • Willing to work shifts and overtime when required.
  • Ability to work effectively with supervisors and site teams.

SALARY & BENEFITS

Salary: AED 4,000 – 6,000 per month

Salary will depend on experience, technical skills, and type of drilling rig operated.

Additional benefits will be discussed during the interview.
