A reputable healthcare provider in Dubai, UAE is expanding its primary care services and is seeking a qualified Primary Care Physician specialising in Family Medicine to join its multidisciplinary clinical team. The position focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centred medical care to a diverse community within a modern outpatient healthcare environment.
This role offers an opportunity to practice comprehensive family medicine while working within an integrated healthcare system supported by advanced diagnostics and specialist referral services.
Role Overview
- Position: Family Medicine Physician
- Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
- Healthcare Setting: Multispecialty hospital outpatient department
- Experience Required: Minimum 3+ years post specialist or board certification
- Practice Model: Outpatient primary care with integrated diagnostic and specialist referral support

Qualifications & Board Recognition

Key Responsibilities – Family Medicine
- Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients across all age groups, ensuring continuity of care and long-term patient management.
- Conduct detailed clinical assessments, medical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations to diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular conditions, respiratory disorders, thyroid disease, and metabolic disorders in accordance with evidence-based clinical guidelines.
- Deliver preventive healthcare services, including routine health screenings, immunisations, lifestyle counselling, and early disease detection initiatives.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment and care plans, ensuring appropriate follow-up and monitoring of patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and counselling on health maintenance, disease prevention, nutrition, and lifestyle modification.
- Coordinate referrals to specialist physicians and allied healthcare professionals when required and ensure effective follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive electronic medical records and clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and organisational standards.
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure integrated and high-quality patient care.
- Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, ethical medical practice standards, and hospital policies.
