Job Summary

The Regional Manager – Middle East is responsible for leading and managing the overall operations, business growth, profitability, and strategic direction of the organization's operations across the Middle East region. The role is accountable for driving operational excellence, business expansion, customer satisfaction, compliance, financial performance, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives, client requirements, and corporate governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Growth

• Lead the strategic direction and operational performance of the Middle East region to achieve organizational goals and sustainable business growth.
• Develop and execute regional business strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Collaborate with the Business Development and Value Added Services (VAS) teams to identify and implement new revenue-generating opportunities.
• Drive month-on-month growth in VAS revenue, operational performance, and regional profitability.

Operational Leadership

• Oversee the end-to-end operations of all business units and Visa Application Centres across the assigned countries within the Middle East.
• Ensure consistent implementation of operational standards, client service requirements, and organizational policies across the region.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), service quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
• Drive continuous process improvements to enhance service delivery, operational excellence, and cost optimization.
• Ensure effective workforce planning and resource allocation across all regional operations.

Financial Management

• Develop, monitor, and manage regional operational budgets and financial performance.
• Ensure achievement of revenue, profitability, and cost management objectives.
• Analyze financial and operational reports to identify opportunities for performance improvement and implement corrective actions.

Risk, Compliance & Governance

• Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, financial, commercial, strategic, and compliance risks.
• Ensure readiness for internal and external audits and maintain high standards of operational compliance.

Leadership & People Management

• Provide strategic leadership, coaching, and mentorship to Country Managers
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Drive talent development, succession planning, employee engagement, and performance management across the region.
• Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with organizational values.

Stakeholder & Client Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with client governments, diplomatic missions, business partners.
• Represent the organization in high-level business meetings, client reviews, negotiations, and external engagements.
• Ensure exceptional customer experience and service excellence across all regional operations.
• Work closely with Corporate Leadership and cross-functional departments to ensure alignment with business priorities and strategic initiatives.

Business Reporting & Governance

• Prepare and present regional business performance reports, operational reviews, and strategic updates to senior management.
• Monitor regional KPIs and recommend initiatives to improve operational and financial performance.
• Ensure timely implementation of corporate projects, policies, and organizational initiatives across the region.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related discipline.
• MBA or Master's Degree preferred.
• Minimum 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in regional operations, business management, or multi-country leadership roles.
• Proven experience managing operations across multiple countries.
• Strong commercial, financial, and operational management expertise.
• Demonstrated experience in business development and strategic planning.
• Experience in the visa outsourcing, government services, banking, hospitality, aviation, or service industry is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
