Job Summary

We are looking for a customer-focused and energetic Counter Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should have good communication and selling skills, the ability to handle customer enquiries, and experience in counter sales, product presentation, and daily sales operations. Candidates with retail or hypermarket experience will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, understand their requirements, and recommend suitable products.
• Handle counter sales, customer enquiries, and product-related questions professionally.
• Maintain proper product displays, pricing labels, and counter cleanliness.
• Ensure accurate billing, cash handling, and POS transactions, where applicable.
• Achieve daily and monthly sales targets as assigned by management.
• Monitor stock availability and coordinate with the store or inventory team for replenishment.
• Maintain good customer relationships and handle complaints professionally.
• Follow company policies, sales procedures, and hygiene standards.
• Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain accurate records of sales and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous experience in counter sales, retail sales, or hypermarket sales is preferred.
• Good verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of billing systems, POS machines, and cash handling is an advantage.
• Ability to explain product features and promote sales.
• Good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
