Key Responsibilities

· Lead the contractor prequalification, evaluation, selection, and contract negotiation process to ensure the engagement of qualified contractors and service providers.

· Manage contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are achieved on schedule and within contractual requirements.

· Monitor construction progress and oversee compliance with project specifications, quality standards, health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.

· Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, consultants, procurement teams, and site supervisors to ensure effective planning and execution of contractor activities.

· Conduct contractual and project risk assessments, identify potential issues, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.

· Administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle, including reviewing and processing variations, change orders, claims, and extension of time (EOT) requests.

· Monitor project budgets, verify contractor invoices, certify payments, and ensure cost control in accordance with contractual agreements.

· Resolve contractual disputes, performance issues, and commercial matters through effective negotiation while safeguarding the organization's interests.

· Ensure all contractors comply with contractual obligations, statutory requirements, company policies, and applicable UAE regulations.

· Maintain accurate contract documentation, correspondence, records, and reports to support project governance and audits.

· Prepare regular commercial and contractual status reports for senior management and key stakeholders.

· Foster effective communication and collaboration among internal departments, consultants, contractors, and clients to support successful project delivery.

· Continuously identify opportunities to improve contract administration processes, operational efficiency, and commercial performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as MRICS, MCIOB, PMP, CCM, or equivalent are preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in contract management within the civil construction industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing large-scale infrastructure, commercial, or building projects in the UAE or GCC.

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
