PROJECT MANAGER – CONSTRUCTION

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and highly competent Project Manager to join our construction team and take full responsibility for the successful planning, execution, management, and completion of construction projects in accordance with the approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, budget, quality standards, and project schedule.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the project from commencement through completion and handover, while ensuring effective coordination between the Client, Consultant, Contractor, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of assigned construction projects.
• Plan, organize, coordinate, and control all project activities from mobilization through final handover.
• Manage project time, cost, quality, safety, resources, and contractual requirements.
• Develop, monitor, and update the project execution program and ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with the Client, Consultant, authorities, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Lead and manage the project team, including engineers, quantity surveyors, supervisors, and site staff.
• Review and monitor construction drawings, specifications, method statements, material submissions, and shop drawings.
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and contractual requirements.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential delays, risks, and corrective actions.
• Review subcontractor and supplier performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor project expenditure, commitments, variations, claims, and overall cost performance in coordination with the Commercial/QS team.
• Chair and attend project coordination and progress meetings and ensure proper follow-up
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management.
• Maintain proper project records, correspondence, reports, and contractual documentation.
• Ensure that project objectives and contractual obligations are achieved within the approved budget and schedule.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant construction experience, including at least 5 years in a Project Manager / Project Management position in a contracting company.
• Proven experience in managing building construction projects from commencement to completion and handover..
• Good knowledge of FIDIC contracts and construction contractual procedures is highly desirable.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Project or Primavera P6, MS Office, AutoCAD, and relevant project management systems.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.

Pay: AED25,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month
