Go Tech Construction LLC is an unlimited licensed construction company delivering complex institutional, commercial, residential and mixed-use projects throughout the UAE.

Job Summary

The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe environment in school and office premises. This includes cleaning classrooms, offices, meeting rooms, restrooms, common areas, and other assigned facilities to ensure a healthy and professional environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, meeting rooms, reception areas, and common areas.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, furniture, windows, and other surfaces.
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, ensuring adequate supplies of soap, tissue, and paper towels.
  • Empty waste bins and dispose of garbage according to company procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of pantries, corridors, staircases, and entrances.
  • Replenish cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
  • Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and in accordance with safety guidelines.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Assist in setting up and cleaning rooms for meetings, school activities, or events when required.
  • Ensure all assigned areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness throughout the day.
  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Perform other cleaning-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a cleaner, janitor, or housekeeping staff is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and the safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning tasks.
  • Basic communication skills in English.
