Full job description

· Acting as the main technical adviser on the site for foreman, skilled workers and Subcontractors.

· After demarcation, setting out leveling and surveying the site.

· Checking all approved drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations & if any discrepancy found raise the query to Consultant.

· Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.

· Coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors etc involved in the project.

· Coordinating with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws.

· Coordinating with stores & raise material request as per the Company procedures.

· Ensuring all materials are stores in a proper manner

· Monitor & control material, equipment expenses & ensure optimal use of resources without wastages.

· Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force, work of any subcontractors & ensure optimal use of manpower;

· Planning the work and efficiently organizing the site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines;

· .Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.

· Preparing reports as required; (eg. Project progress reports etc)

· Report to the Project Manager, if any unexpected Technical difficulties, any other problems arises.

· Assisting the Project Manager to ensure the project deadlines are met and the project is completed as scheduled.

· Ensuring all project documents are properly filed, maintained at the site office.

· In the absence of a Project Manager / Project Engineer, assist in assembling the job site office & equipment requirements / mobilization.

· Any other job related tasks assigned by your Manager time to time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED60,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Municipality Card ,SOE,Driving License (Required)
