Full job description

We are looking for a skilled Chemist with expertise in the lubricants and grease industry and experience in blending operations. The role will involve formulating, testing, and improving the quality of lubricants and grease products, as well as overseeing the blending process to ensure consistency and quality of the final products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and formulate lubricants and grease products tailored to customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Oversee the blending process, ensuring the correct mixture of base oils, additives, and other components for optimal product performance.
  • Conduct chemical analyses and tests on raw materials, blended products, and finished goods to ensure quality control and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor blending operations and troubleshoot any issues related to consistency, viscosity, or product quality.
  • Collaborate with the production team to optimize blending parameters and improve product efficiency.
  • Ensure all formulations and products meet safety, environmental, and industry regulations.
  • Maintain detailed records of formulations, batch blending processes, and laboratory results.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new blending technologies, and regulatory changes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in the lubricants, grease, or blending industry.
  • Solid understanding of lubricant additives, base oils, and grease formulations, as well as the blending process.
  • Experience with quality control, chemical testing, and laboratory equipment.
  • Familiarity with ASTM, ISO, and other industry standards for lubricants and grease.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot blending and formulation issues.
  • Proficient in MS Office and lab management software.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
