We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Café Manager to oversee daily café operations, manage staff, improve customer experience, control costs, and support the growth of the business. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in café, restaurant, bakery, dessert shop, or F&B operations in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the café and ensure smooth service.
• Supervise baristas, cashiers, service staff, and kitchen/support team.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, cleanliness, product quality, and presentation.
• Monitor daily sales, cash handling, POS transactions, and end-of-day reports.
• Train, motivate, and evaluate staff performance.
• Prepare staff schedules and ensure proper attendance and discipline.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and find quick solutions.
• Monitor stock levels, ordering, inventory, wastage, and cost control.
• Ensure all products are prepared according to café standards.
• Support sales growth through upselling, promotions, customer engagement, and branch improvement ideas.
• Coordinate with suppliers and ensure timely availability of ingredients and packaging.
• Maintain hygiene, food safety, and municipality compliance standards.
• Report daily/weekly performance to the owner or management.
• Identify operational issues and recommend practical improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in café, restaurant, bakery, dessert, or F&B operations.
• Previous experience as Café Manager, Restaurant Supervisor, Store Manager, Shift Leader, or Assistant Manager.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership and staff management skills.
• Good knowledge of coffee shop operations, customer service, inventory, and cost control.
• Ability to work under pressure during busy hours.
• Strong communication skills in English. Arabic is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of POS systems, daily sales reports, and basic Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
• Presentable, professional, punctual, and customer-focused.
• Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts when required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Hands-on manager who is willing to support the team on the floor.
• Strong in staff discipline, customer service, cleanliness, and sales improvement.
• Able to manage more than one branch when required.
• Experience in specialty coffee, café chains, bakery cafés, dessert shops, or QSR brands is an advantage.
