Americana Restaurants is looking for an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, drive sales and profitability, ensure operational excellence, and deliver outstanding guest experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing restaurant performance, developing team members, and maintaining brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Management

  • Manage daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and service excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health regulations.
  • Maintain brand standards across food preparation, storage, packaging, and service.
  • Monitor restaurant readiness, equipment maintenance, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure safety and security standards are consistently followed.

2. Sales & Profitability

  • Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Monitor key performance indicators including guest traffic and average transaction value.
  • Execute local marketing and promotional activities.
  • Control labor costs, food costs, wastage, and operational expenses.
  • Manage inventory and conduct regular stock reconciliations.
  • Analyze performance reports and implement corrective action plans.
  • Calculate and experience in P&L and EBITDA calculations

3. Customer Experience

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Review guest feedback and implement service improvements.
  • Maintain high front-of-house service standards.

4. People Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and motivate restaurant team members.
  • Conduct team briefings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee development.
  • Promote teamwork, engagement, and a positive work environment.
  • Identify and develop future leaders within the restaurant team.

5. Compliance & Administration

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
  • Maintain accurate operational, inventory, and financial records.
  • Coordinate effectively with HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Operations teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in casual dining.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
  • Sound understanding of restaurant operations and food safety standards.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales and profitability targets.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
