Job Purpose:

The Catering Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing catering services while ensuring exceptional service quality, operational efficiency, and seamless communication between clients, kitchen operations, food & beverage teams, suppliers, and service staff. The role oversees event logistics, catering schedules, guest requirements, and operational readiness to deliver a world-class hospitality experience.



Duties & Accountabilities:

Plan, coordinate, and execute catering services for VIP and high-profile guests. Coordinate with clients, kitchen, F&B teams, suppliers, and service staff to ensure seamless operations. Manage catering schedules, event logistics, menus, guest preferences, and special requirements. Monitor food quality, presentation, service standards, and operational readiness. Handle VIP requests, dietary requirements, and last-minute changes professionally and discreetly. Maintain accurate catering records, schedules, orders, and operational documentation. Conduct service checks and resolve operational or guest issues promptly. Maintain excellent communication and coordination within a multicultural hospitality environment.Deliver a professional, friendly, and personalized guest experience at all times.



Compliance-related duties:

Ensure catering operations comply with HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and health & safety requirements.



Requirements:

Qualifications
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration or related fields

Experience
  • 2-4 years' experience in Guest Facing Hospitality or Customer Service roles.
  • Coordinating VIP Catering services, managing multiple events along with menu planning and customization if required.
  • Experience serving VIPs, Diplomats, Executives or High Net worth individuals.

Skillset

Fluent English with additional languages are plus
