  • Processing Transactions:
  • Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions.
  • Issue receipts and manage cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Customer Service:
  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints.
  • Order Management:
  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate orders to the kitchen staff if applicable.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness:
  • Keep the cashier area clean and organized.
  • Ensure that the dining area or front counter is tidy and presentable.
  • Stock Management:
  • Monitor inventory levels of cash register supplies (like paper rolls) and notify management when supplies are low.
  • Occasionally assist in stocking items or supplies in the dining area.
  • Ending Shift Duties:
  • Balance cash drawers at the end of shifts and prepare cash deposits.
