Location: BurJuman Mall, Bur Dubai

We are looking for a passionate, experienced, and customer-focused Café Shift Supervisor to support the Café Manager in running the café efficiently and delivering an exceptional premium coffee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Café Manager in the day-to-day operation and overall performance of the café.
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the café team, ensuring strong teamwork and productivity.
  • Ensure consistent beverage quality, latte art, presentation, service, and adherence to café standards.
  • Drive sales through excellent customer engagement, upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Monitor stock, wastage, product freshness, replenishment, and inventory requirements.
  • Ensure accurate POS, cash handling, discounts, refunds, and daily reconciliation.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, food safety, and café presentation.
  • Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Ensure opening, closing, handover, and daily operational procedures are completed effectively.
  • Monitor equipment and operational requirements and report issues promptly.
  • Assist with staff training, coaching, and maintaining high service standards.
  • Take ownership of the café’s operations when the Café Manager is not present.

Requirements & Qualities

  • 2–3 years of experience in café, specialty coffee, or premium hospitality.
  • Previous experience as a Senior Barista, Team Leader, or Shift Supervisor.
  • Strong knowledge of espresso preparation, milk steaming, latte art, and café standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Sales-oriented with a natural ability to upsell and engage customers.
  • Hands-on, organized, reliable, and detail-oriented.
  • Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and motivate a team.
  • Flexible to work different schedules, weekends, and public holidays.
