Assistant General Manager – Restaurant

Location: UAE

Position: Assistant General Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in managing the overall restaurant operations and daily activities.
  • Supervise and coordinate restaurant staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Monitor service quality, customer satisfaction, and guest feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, hygiene, and UAE regulations.
  • Monitor sales, daily expenses, food costs, inventory, and wastage.
  • Support staff scheduling, attendance, training, and performance management.
  • Coordinate with kitchen, service, purchasing, and other departments.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
  • Assist in achieving sales targets and improving restaurant profitability.
  • Conduct regular operational checks and ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Prepare and review daily operational reports for management.
  • Take charge of restaurant operations in the absence of the General Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
  • Experience in UAE restaurant operations is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, staff management, customer service, and cost control.
  • Experience with multi-outlet restaurant operations will be an advantage.
  • Good leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office/Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED40,000.00 per month
