CAD cum Design Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented CAD cum Design Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings, coordinating design activities, managing drawing revisions, and ensuring seamless communication between design, engineering, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings, layouts, and technical documentation using AutoCAD and relevant design software.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and project teams to ensure design requirements are properly implemented.
• Manage the flow of design information, drawing submissions, revisions, and approvals.
• Review and update drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations.
• Track design progress and ensure timely delivery of drawings and design packages.
• Maintain drawing registers, document control systems, and design records.
• Identify and resolve design coordination issues in collaboration with project stakeholders.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of all design deliverables.
• Support project teams with design modifications, technical drafting, and coordination requirements.
• Attend coordination meetings and provide updates on design status and project requirements.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience as a CAD Designer, Design Coordinator, or CAD cum Design Coordinator.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software.
• Excellent understanding of technical drafting standards and design coordination processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering, architectural, and construction drawings.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and consultants.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Design, or a related field.
• UAE/GCC project experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Experience in construction, engineering consultancy, or fit-out projects is an advantage.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
