Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and direct the company image through the implementation of business strategy.
• Plan and direct the organisation’s activities to achieve agreed targets and standards for publication quality, culture and legislative adherence.
• Direct key functions and performance via the executive team.
• Maintain and develop organisational culture, values and reputation within the market and with all staff, suppliers, partners and regulatory/official bodies.
• Report to board members regarding organisational plans and performance.
• Execute the responsibilities of a company director according to lawful and ethical standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience in media, journalism and/or publications industries
• Notable experience with the consumer magazine and publishing sector
• Prior international experience would be a plus
• An understanding of the Dubai / Middle Eastern culture and associated business methodologies
• Forward thinking & innovative thinker
• Arabic speaker would be a bonus, but not essential
