Job Description
A Research Assistant position is available in the Department of Anatomy, College of Medicine and Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates University. The position is to support research in experimental diabetes. The position is initially for one and a half years. Interested candidates should submit electronically their curriculum vitae, summary of research goals, and names of at least three referees to UAEU careers website (https://jobs.uaeu.ac.ae/index.jsp) The UAE is an open and tolerant society and clearly one of the most attractive places to live and work in the Middle East. The United Arab Emirates University is situated in the city of Al-Ain. Abu Dhabi and Dubai are only an hour's drive from Al-Ain.
Minimum Qualification
The successful candidates should have a master’s degree in biomedical sciences or related discipline.
Preferred Qualification
The successful candidates should have a master’s degree in biomedical sciences or related discipline.
Expected Skills
Research experience in more than one of the following research areas: experimental diabetes, with experience in computational sciences (including computational chemistry and molecular modelling).
