Billing & Accounts Receivable Executive (Showroom & Service Centre)

About the Role

Smart Mobility International (SMI) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Billing & Accounts Receivable Executive to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete billing, invoicing, and Accounts Receivable (AR) cycle for vehicle retail sales, Lease-to-Own (LTO) contracts, and service centre operations.

This role is ideal for candidates with a strong accounting background, ERP experience (Odoo preferred), and prior experience in the automotive, leasing, or fleet industry.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Sales Billing (Retail & Lease-to-Own)

• Prepare and process vehicle sales invoices for retail deliveries.
• Process Lease-to-Own (LTO) agreements, including:
• Initial booking entries
• Down payment invoicing
• Installment schedule setup
• Ensure all invoices are VAT compliant in accordance with UAE regulations.
• Coordinate with the Sales and Finance teams to ensure timely vehicle delivery and billing.

Service Centre Billing

• Generate accurate service invoices for maintenance and repair jobs.
• Verify work orders, parts, and labour charges before invoicing.
• Coordinate with the Service team to resolve billing discrepancies.

Accounts Receivable

• Manage the end-to-end AR process.
• Monitor customer accounts and outstanding balances.
• Follow up with customers for collections and overdue payments.
• Prepare AR aging reports and collection status reports.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing queries.
• Support month-end closing activities related to receivables.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification or Master's degree is preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in Billing, Accounts Receivable, or Invoicing.
• Experience in one or more of the following industries is highly preferred:
• Automotive showroom
• Vehicle leasing or fleet management
• Service centre operations
• Good understanding of:
• Lease contracts and installment billing
• Accounts Receivable processes and collections
• AR aging reports
• UAE VAT regulations
• Experience working with ERP systems (Odoo preferred).
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
