We are seeking a passionate and skilled Specialty Coffee Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong appreciation for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and experience preparing high-quality espresso-based beverages. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, cleanliness, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional café experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages, including espresso, pour-over, filter coffee, and other manual brewing methods.
• Dial in espresso and adjust grind settings to maintain beverage quality and consistency throughout the day.
• Demonstrate knowledge of coffee origins, processing methods, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by engaging with guests and providing coffee recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and customer areas.
• Perform daily opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor coffee bean freshness, milk quality, and inventory levels.
• Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned, calibrated, and maintained.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Support team members and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Specialty Coffee Barista (minimum 2 years preferred).
• Strong understanding of espresso extraction, milk texturing, latte art, and manual brewing methods.
• Experience using commercial espresso machines and coffee grinders.
• Knowledge of coffee sourcing, roasting fundamentals, and sensory evaluation is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as required.

Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month
