#Job Description – Legal Officer

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Remote / Work from Home)

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: AED 12,000 – AED 16,000 per month (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Officer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple business areas and can provide legal support to both internal departments and a diverse portfolio of international clients.

As a Legal Officer, you will work closely with the HR, Corporate, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure legal compliance, maintain accurate documentation, and support day-to-day legal and corporate matters.

Key Responsibilities

1. Human Resources (HR)

•⁠ ⁠Draft, review, and maintain employment agreements, freelancer agreements, and other HR-related legal documents.

•⁠ ⁠Support the HR team in preparing contractual documentation for new hires and contractors.

•⁠ ⁠Conduct periodic audits of existing employment and contractor agreements to ensure legal compliance and consistency.

•⁠ ⁠Maintain accurate HR legal records and ensure all documentation is properly organized and up to date.

•⁠ ⁠Assist in improving HR legal processes and documentation standards.

2. Corporate Services

As we provide corporate consultancy services to a portfolio of more than 25 companies, the Legal Officer will be responsible for:

•⁠ ⁠Maintaining corporate records and statutory documentation for client companies.

•⁠ ⁠Monitoring corporate compliance requirements, including licence renewals, filing deadlines, annual renewals, and other regulatory obligations.

•⁠ ⁠Preparing and reviewing corporate legal documentation.

•⁠ ⁠Supporting corporate restructurings, including shareholder changes, director changes, company amendments, and other structural modifications based on client requirements.

•⁠ ⁠Reviewing legal documentation before execution to ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal standards.

•⁠ ⁠Coordinating with external legal providers, corporate service providers, regulators, and government authorities when required.

3. Finance Support

•⁠ ⁠Review legal banking documentation, including account opening documents, banking resolutions, KYC documentation, and related legal forms.

•⁠ ⁠Ensure all banking and finance-related legal documentation is complete, accurate, and properly maintained.

•⁠ ⁠Assist with legal documentation required by financial institutions and payment service providers.

4. Cross-Department Legal Support

•⁠ ⁠Provide legal guidance and coordination to internal departments whenever required.

•⁠ ⁠Support Operations, Compliance, Finance, HR, and Management with legal documentation and contractual matters.

•⁠ ⁠Identify potential legal risks and propose practical solutions.

•⁠ ⁠Assist in improving internal legal procedures and document management systems.

Requirements

•⁠ ⁠Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).

•⁠ ⁠Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience.

•⁠ ⁠Experience in corporate law, commercial contracts, or corporate services is highly preferred.

•⁠ ⁠Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

•⁠ ⁠Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

•⁠ ⁠Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently in a remote environment.

•⁠ ⁠Experience working with international companies is an advantage.
