Job Description:

We are looking for a Junior Accountant with experience in the construction and real estate sector to support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial records, and assist with project and property-related accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and maintain all financial and accounting transactions accurately in the system.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoices, payments, and customer receipts.
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations, including supplier and customer accounts.
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, schedules, and management summaries.
  • Maintain project-wise and property-wise cost records, including tracking expenses, retention amounts, and payment certificates.
  • Support construction and real estate accounting activities, including sales accounting, customer collections, and escrow-related transactions.
  • Assist in VAT compliance, and related documentation.
  • Maintain proper financial documentation, filing, and record-keeping systems.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, contractors, and clients as required.
  • Provide general support to the finance team in day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience in the Construction and/or Real Estate sector in the UAE.
  • Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and general accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Tally and Zoho.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
