Full job description

The Automotive Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the workshop. The role involves understanding customer concerns, preparing repair estimates, coordinating with technicians, monitoring repair progress, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the vehicle service process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and accurately identify their vehicle service and repair requirements.
  • Inspect vehicles with customers and document concerns on job cards.
  • Prepare repair estimates, quotation, explain recommended services, and obtain customer approval before work begins.
  • Coordinate with workshop technicians to ensure timely and efficient repairs.
  • Monitor repair progress and keep customers informed of job status and any additional work required.
  • Ensure all repairs are completed according to manufacturer and company quality standards.
  • Schedule service appointments and manage workshop workflow.
  • Process warranty claims in accordance with manufacturer policies, where applicable.
  • Prepare invoices, explain completed work, and arrange vehicle handover.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate service records and customer information.
  • Promote additional maintenance services and products when appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor, preferably in the UAE or GCC.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, maintenance, and repair procedures.
  • Experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and workshop software.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
